Marilyn is a graduate of the New York University School of Law, where she was Articles Editor of the Law Review. She clerked for Judge Inzer B. Wyatt, Federal District Court, Southern District of New York, and worked in the litigation department of a major New York law firm.

Marilyn is a member of the National Speakers Association. She has earned the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation —the highest earned level of recognition that a professional speaker can achieve.
